Closing the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030

(GLO)-After nearly 3 days of active, urgent, serious, democratic and responsible work, the 1st Congress of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, completed all the contents of the proposed program and closed at noon on October 4.

During the working session on the morning of October 4, the Congress discussed and contributed opinions to the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; approved the Resolution and important documents to be submitted to the 1st Provincial Party Congress. The Congress expressed high consensus with the documents submitted by the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term to the Congress and focused on discussing and contributing many practical and accurate opinions to complete the documents.

On that basis, the Congress passed the Resolution of the 1st Congress of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

In which, the common goals are determined: Building a clean and strong Party organization and political system; ensuring national defense, security and social security; promoting tradition, cultural identity, the strength of great national unity, will and aspiration to rise up; promoting the development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation, green transformation, private economy; building Gia Lai province to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming a center of processing and manufacturing industry, renewable energy, high-tech agriculture, services, tourism, semiconductor chips, artificial intelligence (AI); striving to make Gia Lai province a fairly developed province and together with the whole country firmly enter a new era of development.

The Congress agreed on 33 main targets, including 10 economic targets, 14 social targets, 7 environmental targets and 2 Party targets. Specifically, the main targets for the 2025-2030 term are: The growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the 2025-2030 period strives to reach 10-10.5%/year (2010 comparative price); of which, agriculture - forestry - fishery increases by 3.8-4%, industry - construction increases by 13.5-14.5%, services increase by 10.5-11%, product tax minus product subsidies increase by 10-10.5%. Economic structure by 2030: Agriculture, forestry and fishery account for 19.5-20%; industry and construction account for 36-36.5%; services account for 40-41%; product taxes minus product subsidies account for 4.2%.

By 2030, the total budget revenue in the province will reach over 41,000 billion VND. Total export turnover in the 2026-2030 period will reach over 17 billion USD.

The urbanization rate reaches over 45%. The rate of communes meeting new rural standards in the 2025-2030 period of the province is at least equal to the national average according to the implementation target of the Central Program for the 2025-2030 period.

The rate of workers participating in social insurance compared to the labor force is over 35.6%. The rate of people participating in health insurance compared to the population is 98%. The forest coverage rate is over 46.5%. The rate of rural households using hygienic water is 99.8%; of which, the rate of using clean water (from centralized water supply works) is at least 67.5%. The rate of urban solid waste collected and treated is 95%. The rate of domestic solid waste in rural areas is collected and treated is 80%...

Every year, 90% or more of the grassroots party organizations and party members complete their tasks well. The rate of new party members admitted each year is 3% or more of the total number of party members.

To achieve the set goals and targets, the Congress set out four main groups of tasks and solutions; five growth pillars; and four breakthroughs in the 2025-2030 term.

In his closing speech at the Congress, comrade Ho Quoc Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, affirmed: The Resolution of the Congress and the documents just passed are the crystallization of the intelligence, will, aspiration and determination of the entire Party Committee, the entire army and the people of all ethnic groups in Gia Lai province in the new period: Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; promoting cultural identity, the strength of great national unity; maintaining national defense and security; promoting the development of science and technology; mobilizing all resources to build Gia Lai into a fairly developed province of the country and together with the whole country firmly entering a new era of development.

The great success of the Congress is also the result of the close and close direction of the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat and the guidance and support of the Central Party Committees. Thereby, it creates excitement and is a source of great strength, encouraging the entire Party Committee, the entire army and the people of all ethnic groups in the province to continue to promote the cause of building and developing the province in the new era.
