Famous Chinese orchestra performs 'Condor Hero' soundtrack in Hanoi

The youth folk music exchange program "Let's sing together Vietnam - China Friendship" took place on the evening of November 27 at the concert hall, Vietnam National Academy of Music ( Hanoi ).

The program is organized by the Vietnam National Academy of Music, Guangxi Academy of Arts, and the Chinese Cultural Center in Hanoi.

Artist Thai Uong - famous Chinese conductor, professor of Guangxi Academy of Arts - conducted the 72-member ethnic orchestra of Guangxi Academy of Arts, bringing an emotional concert night to the audience.

In addition to Vietnamese songs such as the folk song Beo dat may troi, the Vietnamese-Chinese song composed by musician Do Nhuan in 1966, the folk song Than dieu dai hiep excited Vietnamese audiences.

The folk song concert version of The Condor Heroes uses bold musical arrangements and profound performances, making listeners feel lost in the world , feeling the heroic ambitions of the heroes.

Also during the music night, the audience enjoyed Chinese musical pieces such as Flying Dragon, Leaping Tiger, Jasmine, Beautiful Choang Brocade, Spring Flowers and Autumn Fruits, Chrysanthemum Terrace, Little Moon Lu Cau, Big Song, Flying Black Horse... vividly expressing the rich cultural characteristics of the nation, incorporating modern elements of China.

In particular, the song Multi-color - Song of the Wind shows the cultural features and harmonious beauty in the "common beauty" of the two cultures of Vietnam and China. The music exchange ended with a Vietnamese-Chinese national symphony sung by singer Tran Thi Bich Ngoc, a former student of the Guangxi Academy of Arts, and the entire audience sang in unison, expressing the deep friendship between Vietnam and China.

The special performances of Vietnamese and Chinese music by 72 artists of the orchestra brought many emotions to the audience.

During the program, Guangxi Academy of Arts, China signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Chinese Cultural Center in Hanoi.

Speaking at the ceremony, musician Do Hong Quan - Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations - shared that Vietnam and China are two neighboring countries "mountains next to mountains, rivers next to rivers".

Since the 1950s, Vietnamese musicians have studied and trained in China, such as Huy Du, Pham Dinh Sau, Chu Minh, Hoang Van, etc. Today, that good relationship is still maintained and developed.

Guangxi Academy of Arts, China has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Chinese Cultural Center in Hanoi.

Guangxi Academy of Arts (China) has trained many Vietnamese students over the years. Many of them have become famous singers and musicians after graduating.

Ms. Tran Dich Quan - Standing Member of the Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China) - shared that music has always played an important role in cultural exchange between China and Vietnam.
