'Skilled mass mobilization' - the power to unite and build a civilized city

On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Party's traditional day of mass mobilization (October 15, 1930 - October 15, 2025), on the morning of October 23, at President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park (Nguyen Hue Street, Saigon Ward), the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee held a ceremony to honor 133 collectives and 208 typical individuals in implementing the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization" in 2025.

Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc attended and awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with achievements in the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement in 2025.

This is a meaningful political and social activity, demonstrating the concern of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee in promoting the strength of great solidarity, the spirit of being close to the people, understanding the people, serving the people, affirming the role of mass mobilization work in building a strong Party and government and developing the City.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, reviewed the glorious 95-year journey of mass mobilization work - a process associated with important historical milestones and constantly trained and developed through revolutionary periods. In Ho Chi Minh City, mass mobilization work has always been identified as a key task, associated with administrative reform, building an honest, active government serving the people. From July 1, 2025, the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee was officially established. The emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization" continues to be widely deployed, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style as well as key programs of the City.

According to Mr. Tran Van Nam, each model, typical example of "Skilled Mass Mobilization", from improving administrative procedures, digital solutions, to initiatives to care for social security, are all "bricks" to build the foundation for a civilized, modern, humane and affectionate megacity.

Honored to be one of 208 individuals who are typical of "Skillful Mass Mobilization", Mr. Hua Hong Vinh, Member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Full-time Member of the Board of Members, Tan Thuan Industrial Development One Member Limited Liability Company shared that mass mobilization work plays a very important role, contributing to creating a unified block, gathering solidarity and combined strength to successfully carry out production and business tasks and tasks assigned by the Party and State.

"The Company's Party Committee and I have implemented many solutions, with many diverse forms. In particular, the movements and propaganda activities have contributed to bringing the Party and State's directive documents into life, spreading the spirit and good values ​​of the guidelines and policies to all Party members, union members and workers," said Mr. Hua Hong Vinh.

Collectives and individuals were honored at the ceremony.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nhan, Party Secretary of the Southeast Industrial Park (under the Management Board of Export Processing Zones and Industrial Parks of Ho Chi Minh City) said that in recent times, mass mobilization work has been focused on and implemented throughout the Southeast Industrial Park; helping workers understand and actively participate in movement activities, contributing to spreading good values, the spirit of setting an example, and competing to excellently complete assigned tasks.

“Skillful mass mobilization helps workers understand good values, grasp policies and laws to perform their roles and tasks well. Thereby, they actively encourage their families, relatives and colleagues to strictly comply with regulations, policies and laws, contributing to spreading a positive image,” Mr. Nguyen Trong Nhan shared.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Dinh Ly, Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry also shared that, with practical, diverse and rich actions, the school's mass mobilization work has contributed to spreading humanistic and humane values ​​to serve innovation and integration. However, the most important thing is the enthusiasm of those doing mass mobilization work, with the desire to contribute, spend time and effort to serve the community.

To continue improving the effectiveness of mass mobilization work in the coming time, the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has set out 5 key tasks, focusing on promoting emulation movements, encouraging and replicating models of linking mass mobilization work with administrative reform; improving the quality of mass mobilization in the government, taking the effectiveness of serving the people as a measure to evaluate cadres.
