The Department of Food Safety ( Ministry of Health ) said that, based on the Food Safety Law No. 55/2010/QH12, Decree No. 15/2018/ND-CP of the Government and Document No. 4925/CV-CSKT dated September 24, 2025 of the Investigation Police Agency, Hung Yen Provincial Police, the competent authority has investigated and verified information about a business showing signs of violations in the production and trading of cooking oil.
According to this agency, through the investigation and verification process at GF Vietnam Food Company Limited (address: Yen Phu village, Nguyen Van Linh commune, Hung Yen province), the authorities discovered that the enterprise produced and traded many vegetable oil products with the following brands: Chica vegetable oil, Chica soybean oil, Tamin Gold vegetable oil, Goldmax vegetable oil, Good vegetable oil, Megafood vegetable oil.
The results of the inspection and appraisal showed that the above products are poor quality, counterfeit goods, and have been distributed to many provinces and cities across the country.
To protect consumers' rights, the Department of Food Safety and Hygiene of Hung Yen province recommends that agencies, units, organizations and people do not buy, sell or use vegetable oil products bearing the above brands.
At the same time, it is recommended that people cooperate with authorities in monitoring, detecting and promptly handling cases of circulation of substandard goods and counterfeit goods to prevent risks affecting public health.
