A amateur player was banned from playing for 2 years for beating the referee.

On June 2, the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Bien Hoa City (Dong Nai) issued a disciplinary decision, banning an amateur player from competing.

In the 81st minute of the first semi-final, Nguyen Phuong Tuan (blue and yellow shirt) hit the referee in the face.

The player who was disciplined was Nguyen Phuong Tuan (residing in Binh Da Ward, Bien Hoa City). The reason for this player was hitting the referee during the match.

Previously, at the semi-final match of the 11-a-side men's football tournament organized by Bien Hoa City, which took place on the afternoon of August 1, in the 81st minute, Nguyen Phuong Tuan of VTP FC team punched the referee in the face.

Therefore, the Center for Culture, Information and Sports of Bien Hoa City decided to ban Nguyen Phuong Tuan from competing for 2 years (from June 2, 2023) in Bien Hoa City tournaments.

During the disciplinary process, Nguyen Phuong Tuan was not allowed to participate in tournaments organized by Bien Hoa City and local grassroots tournaments.
