After the 2024 Lunar New Year, the Nhat Tan peach trees rented for tens of millions of dong were collected by people and planted in the ground, pruned, watered, and sprinkled with lime powder... so that the trees could grow well, serving the following year's Tet.

As scheduled, after the full moon day of January, Nhat Tan peach growers (Tay Ho district, Hanoi ) are busy collecting peach trees rented before Tet to bring back to the village to plant and take care of them in time for the next Tet season.

The working atmosphere here is no different from the days before Tet, the only difference is that before Tet, trucks were busy transporting peach blossoms, but now they are busy bringing peach blossoms back to the garden.

This is also the time when peach transporters increase their income after Tet.

According to gardeners, reviving peach trees takes a lot of time and effort.

After taking the peach trees home, we have to change the soil, prune the roots, add fertilizer, water, keep moist, pick flowers, prune branches, sprinkle lime powder... so that the peach trees can gradually recover, shared a representative of a gardener in Nhat Tan peach village.

On each peach tree for rent is written the customer's information.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong (46 years old, Nhat Tan peach grower) said that nowadays they only rent out peach trees. Because big peach trees are very valuable, with ages up to decades, the price is very high, few people dare to spend money to buy them to play Tet. Besides, it is very difficult to find old peach trees, so peach growers only rent them out and preserve and take care of them carefully, the longer they are kept, the more expensive they are.

People are busy pruning branches, flowers and young fruits to help the tree recover after being potted and put in the garden.

Peach trees after being brought back to the garden are sprinkled with lime powder to slow down the initial growth rate, ensuring the trees grow well the following year.

Ms. Cuc (garden owner) said: "Stimulating roots for old peach trees is much more difficult than planting a new peach tree. It requires the peach grower to have many years of experience. When newly replanted, the peach tree roots must always be kept clean, avoiding leaving grass and leaves on the roots."

It can be seen that in recent years, in addition to growing and selling peach trees in the traditional way during Tet, Nhat Tan peach growers have known how to increase the value of peach trees, not only serving the needs of players but also increasing profits for gardeners every year.
