Speed up investment progress in building parks, flower gardens, and trees in districts, period 2021-2025

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of February 28, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam inspected the field and listened to progress reports on the implementation of component projects under the Investment Program for building parks, flower gardens, and green trees in districts, period 2021-2025.

According to the Program, in the 2021-2025 period, the city will invest in adding 62 parks and flower gardens to the 7-district area, of which 9 parks and flower gardens have been completed; the remaining parks and flower gardens are being focused on implementation from now until 2025.

As of February 26, 2024, the Department of Planning and Investment has completed the appraisal of investment policies for 23 projects. The City People's Committee has approved investment policies for 20 projects. The District People's Committees have completed the preparation of Feasibility Study Reports and Technical Economic Reports for 13 projects. The Department of Construction has completed the appraisal of 12 Feasibility Study Reports and Technical Economic Reports, and has temporarily suspended the appraisal of 01 project due to the lack of detailed planning at a scale of 1/500.

In general, up to this point, the progress of projects is still slow, mainly due to the work of establishing, appraising, approving the adjustment of the 1/2000 planning, the detailed planning at the scale of 1/500; supplementing the land use plan, and converting the land use purpose. The People's Committees of the districts have encountered many difficulties and obstacles in the work of compensation and support, especially the lack of resettlement land fund to serve the site clearance of the projects.

If a new location is chosen, it must ensure all conditions and meet the usage requirements of the people, the Vice Chairman emphasized.
