Accordingly, Z176 not only displayed familiar products such as camouflage nets and special forces backpacks, but also caused a big surprise with an impressive outdoor performance. The focus was on the "invisibility" of the soldier before the public.

On the afternoon of September 13, General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense , also inspected the exhibition booth of Factory Z176.
Here, General Phan Van Giang highly appreciated the products researched, designed and produced by the factory to suit the needs of the army. The General paid special attention to the sniper uniforms and K23 equipment. In addition, General Phan Van Giang also suggested adding some accessories to the uniforms to ensure flexibility and mobility.
The uniform helps soldiers "invisible"
According to the explanation of the staff at the exhibition area, the sniper uniform is designed based on the principle of breaking the outline and blending into the environment.
It is not just a layer of fabric, but a sophisticated multi-layer system, including: base mesh (a lightweight, breathable mesh layer that acts as the main frame for the entire outfit, this mesh layer helps to fix the camouflage materials, while also dispersing the weight, allowing the soldier to easily lie in a narrow area for a long time); thousands of technical fabric strips with colors coordinated to match the combat environment (on terrains of forests, mountains, islands, etc.).

Technical fabric strips are attached to the mesh backing, helping snipers hide from day and night reconnaissance equipment.
When wearing this outfit, the soldier does not simply "hide", but "disappears". They become part of the grass, a motionless bush, completely invisible to the "eyes" of the enemy, allowing them to perform the task of observing and following the target in the most secretive way.
Meanwhile, low-emission suits are considered the art of stealth before technology. With the development of advanced day and night reconnaissance equipment such as thermal imaging cameras and night vision goggles, naked eye camouflage will no longer be effective. Thermal radiation emitted from the human body is the most obvious sign of recognition.

With thermal sensors, even the slightest temperature difference can cause color distortions. On the other hand, for counter-terrorism or special reconnaissance forces, in addition to camouflage, they also have to perform professional tasks such as moving quickly and flexibly or climbing to fight.
In response to this challenge, the low-emission suit was born, a breakthrough in camouflage technology. This suit works on the principle of reducing the emissivity of the uniform, thereby reducing the heat radiation energy of the soldiers. Special materials are integrated into the fabric such as low-emissivity and infrared coating.

Thanks to these technologies, low-emission suits make soldiers invisible to the naked eye and the “eyes” of technology, ensuring they can operate effectively in a variety of combat environments.
K23 equipment - a breakthrough of Factory Z176
According to the explanatory officer, in the context of increasingly modern weapons and equipment, soldiers have to carry a lot of military supplies and equipment such as shovels, buckets, ammunition boxes, grenades, daggers, bulletproof vests, etc. That weight is not only heavy but also cumbersome, reducing mobility and flexibility - vital factors for an infantry soldier.

In that context, the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense assigned Factory Z176 the task of fundamentally changing the carrying capacity of soldiers, first of all, equipping soldiers with STV-380 guns with synchronous grenade launchers, SPL-40.
The goal is not just to create a suit, but an integrated system, a “second body” for the soldier, making them lighter, faster and stronger in training and combat readiness.
Immediately after receiving the assignment, Z176 engineers began to carry out the mission. They researched military uniforms from various countries, applied specialized 3D design technology and the most advanced materials.
Every detail is meticulously calculated: the placement of the STV magazine, SPL-40 bullets, grenades, daggers, communication devices, to the tank bag, gas mask, raincoat. The jacket is designed to scientifically distribute weight, hug the body, ensuring maximum flexibility.
"When the first prototype was born, it had to undergo the most rigorous testing, from real training units to specialized laboratories.
The K23 vest has passed the salt fog durability test, UV aging test and especially the test on the shock test machine simulating 10,000 marches with a load of 20 kg," the officer said, adding that in addition to the above function, the K23 vest can also be equipped with 4 bulletproof armors (2 hard armors, 2 soft armors) and many other related equipment.
According to the officer, the K23 shirt was accepted by the Ministry of National Defense in November 2023.
