
Previously, at 8:00 p.m. on October 12, a joint working group of Na Bung Border Guard Station and the Dien Bien Border Guard's Occupational Department were on duty at Pung Pa Kha village, Na Bung commune, Dien Bien province when they discovered a man walking from the Vietnam-Laos border to the inland with many suspicious signs.
The working group asked the man to stop for inspection and discovered in the man's right shirt pocket 4 blue plastic bags containing 800 pink tablets marked WY and 1 white plastic bag containing heroin (weighing 0.56 grams).
During the investigation, the suspect confessed that his name was Mua A Cha (born in 1976), residing in Pung Pa Kha village, Na Bung commune. Mua A Cha confessed that he bought synthetic drugs and heroin from an unidentified man in the forest near the Vietnam-Laos border for his own use and to sell to other local addicts.
Currently, Na Bung Border Guard Station continues to complete the case file to handle the subject according to legal regulations.
