Chemical incident response drill at DN AUTOMOTIVE VINA Co., Ltd.

Implementing the provisions of the Law on Chemicals dated November 21, 2007; Decree No. 113/2017/ND-CP dated October 9, 2017 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Chemicals, amended and supplemented by Decree No. 82/2022/ND-CP dated October 18, 2022 of the Government. Recently, DN Automotive Vina Co., Ltd. operating in the field of manufacturing tubes, tires and rubber organized a chemical incident response drill in the emergency situation of LPG (gas) chemical leakage that could lead to a fire at DN Automotive Vina Co., Ltd., address: No. 01, Road 1A, Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park, Tho Phong Commune, Quang Ngai Province.

Attending the rehearsal were representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade of Quang Ngai province, leaders of DN Automotive Vina Co. , Ltd. and officers and employees in charge of labor safety and fire prevention and fighting of DN Automotive Vina Co. , Ltd.

DN Automotive Vina Co., Ltd. has coordinated with Business Support and Incident Service Joint Stock Company , Kigtech Trading and Service Co. , Ltd. to conduct a drill with a hypothetical situation : An LPG gas leak occurs at the LPG tanker import and export area near the heat source that can lead to a fire, the fire can spread quickly to surrounding materials, equipment, and construction items.

The drill was carried out seriously, urgently and synchronously according to the scenario of DN Automotive Vina Co., Ltd. , thereby improving the ability to respond when an incident occurs , improving the capacity to command, manage incident response, rescue and salvage at the unit. After the drill, the units held a meeting to review experiences to perfect the plan and skills to respond to chemical incidents during the use of chemicals for the Company's production and business.

The representative of the Department of Industry and Trade acknowledged the results of the drill. Thereby, it is recommended that DN Automotive Vina Co., Ltd. maintain compliance with regulations on ensuring safe use of chemicals, annually organize chemical incident response drills with many different situations so that the approach to preventing chemical incidents is diverse and practical to improve safety work , especially preventing chemical incidents occurring during the Company's production and business activities .
