Delegates attending the 1st Congress of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 offered incense at Hung Temple Historical Site

This morning, September 29, the Phu Tho Provincial Party Executive Committee, on behalf of the delegates attending the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, respectfully offered incense to commemorate and express gratitude to the Hung Kings and our ancestors who contributed to building and defending the country.

Attending the incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings were comrades: Dang Xuan Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Bui Van Quang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Duy Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Bui Duc Hinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Bui Huy Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Bui Thi Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

Also attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, National Assembly Delegation of the province; members of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Executive Committee representing 500 delegates attending the 1st Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Before the heroic spirits of the ancestors who built and defended the country, comrade Dang Xuan Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee reported to the Hung Kings and ancestors who built and defended the country the results achieved in the past term and the work of organizing the first Congress of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.

In 2025, facing the objective and inevitable requirements of the cause of national innovation and development; with the aspiration to realize the goal of building Vietnam into a strong, prosperous and happy nation; the entire Party and people have unanimously restructured the development space, arranged and merged provincial and communal administrative units and built two-level local governments. Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc and Hoa Binh - three lands that crystallize the historical, cultural and human resources of the Vietnamese people, flowing throughout thousands of years of building and defending the country - have now converged into the new Phu Tho province, closely linked in a unified geographical and administrative entity; opening up a new development space, integrating many driving forces, diverse potentials and resources for development.

Along with the whole country, the new Phu Tho province with the two-level local government model officially came into operation from July 1, 2025. Under the leadership of the Party and the State, with the solidarity, unity, high determination and great efforts of the entire Party Committee and the People, Phu Tho province has done well in Party building, stabilized the organization and apparatus of the entire political system, effectively resolved difficulties and problems arising from practice, gradually put the activities of the two-level local government into order; focused on socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security; determined to successfully implement the set goals and tasks and achieved many important and comprehensive results in all fields.

Besides the achievements, along with new opportunities and chances opening up, Phu Tho province still has many shortcomings and difficulties that need to be overcome and resolved more effectively in the new period.

The 1st Congress of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 is an important political event; the first Provincial Party Congress of the new Phu Tho province. Attending the Congress were 500 delegates, representing more than 257,000 party members of 152 party committees under the Provincial Party Committee.

The first Congress of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 has the theme: Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; promoting the strength of great solidarity and cultural traditions of the homeland; pioneering in innovation, creativity, digital transformation; creating breakthroughs for rapid and sustainable development, together with the whole country to be self-reliant, confident, and move forward in the era of national development. With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the Congress will consider and decide on major policies and orientations, creating a solid political foundation for the development of Phu Tho province in the new period, contributing worthily to the cause of innovation and development of the country.

On behalf of the delegation, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that he would promote the spirit of solidarity and unity to successfully organize the 1st Congress of the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee; join hands with unanimity, discipline, comprehensive innovation, drastic and creative actions to turn the Congress Resolution into reality, turn expectations into achievements; strive constantly with the highest determination and responsibility for the stability, progress, sustainable development, prosperity and identity of Phu Tho province; together take care of preserving and embellishing the place of worship of ancestors for the descendants of Lac Hong to worship forever.

After the incense offering ceremony at the Upper Temple, the delegates offered incense and flowers at the Hung King Mausoleum; offered flowers at the relief of Uncle Ho talking with officers and soldiers of the Vanguard Army Corps and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Monument of Heroic Martyrs of Phu Tho province.
