Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the representative intellectual delegates of Ho Chi Minh City respectfully expressed their infinite gratitude to the founder, leader and trainer of our Party. He devoted his whole life to the people and the country, leading the Party and the people to glorious victories. Carrying out Uncle Ho's sacred will, the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people completed the cause of liberating the South, unifying the country, and leading the whole country to build socialism. The delegation's wreath bore the inscription: "Forever grateful to the great President Ho Chi Minh".
Before that, the delegation met with the Command of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Here, the delegates were honored to receive the Ho Chi Minh Badge; visit the Uncle Ho Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, the places associated with Uncle Ho and watch the emotional documentary film about Uncle Ho's last days before passing away, still dedicating all his love to the people and the country.
According to comrade Nguyen Viet Long, the journey to the source of the Ho Chi Minh City intellectual team in 2025 took place from September 23 to 27 in Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang and Hanoi, with the participation of more than 110 outstanding intellectual delegates with many contributions in the fields of science and technology, health, education and training; outstanding young citizens...
This is a very meaningful event, the first time Ho Chi Minh City has organized a journey to the source for intellectual delegates, especially in the context of the new Ho Chi Minh City merger, opening up many development potentials, in which the intellectual team plays a key role. The journey received the attention and facilitation of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, gathering intellectual delegates from many fields, many generations, especially with the participation of patriotic overseas intellectuals.
The trip took place on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, with activities of visiting famous landscapes, exploring culture and historical relics associated with the life and great career of President Ho Chi Minh and the Vietnamese revolution, thereby fostering patriotism and the desire to contribute.
The delegation also organized a gift giving ceremony for families with meritorious services and disadvantaged students in Cao Bang, demonstrating the spirit of sharing and humanity of the city's intellectual community. Through the journey, intellectuals had the opportunity to exchange, connect, expand cooperation, and at the same time spread good values, steadfast beliefs and patriotism to the whole society, to the domestic and international intellectual community, joining hands to build a civilized, modern, and affectionate Ho Chi Minh City and an increasingly prosperous and happy country.
