Supervisory delegation 1572 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee worked with Thuan Nam District Party Committee

On October 12, the 1572th Supervisory Delegation of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, headed by Mr. Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, had a working session with the Thuan Nam District Party Committee on the leadership and direction of the implementation of Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU dated October 12, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on continuing to promote the development of high-tech agriculture (CNC) in the 2021-2025 period, with a vision to 2030. The delegation was joined by Mr. Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Implementing Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU, the Standing Committee of Thuan Nam District Party Committee has issued many documents, leadership and direction plans; relevant departments, offices, units, and People's Committees of communes have organized to thoroughly disseminate the content of the resolution to cadres, civil servants and people in the area. The main targets of the resolution have basically achieved results, with 8 enterprises operating in effective CNC agricultural production, focusing on crops such as green-skinned grapefruit, organic apples, dates, hydroponic vegetables grown in greenhouses, trying to apply water-saving irrigation systems, with a total area of 160 hectares and initially attracting a number of enterprises to invest in the field of aquatic breed production and livestock farming.

Supervisory delegation 1572 inspected the actual situation of high-tech agricultural production at Moana Ninh Thuan Company Limited.

Concluding the supervision session, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Thuan Nam District Party Committee to promote specific and practical propaganda to help people understand the importance of developing CNC agriculture. Focus on reviewing the achieved targets and objectives and propose a roadmap for implementing the remaining targets in Resolution No. 06-NQ/TU. Evaluate the advantages of natural conditions, do a good job of planning and land use plans to serve as a basis for calling for and attracting investment in CNC agricultural projects; increase support and encourage businesses to cooperate with farmers to build and develop specialized areas for crops and livestock associated with processing and preservation to create more added value for the district's key agricultural products, expand the scale of aquatic breed production and marine aquaculture in the direction of intensive investment to increase productivity and efficiency.

Previously, the delegation inspected the actual situation of CNC agricultural production at SEAGULL ADC Company Limited and Moana Ninh Thuan Company Limited in Phuoc Dinh commune.
