Hoi An Ward was established on the basis of arranging and merging 5 wards and communes of Hoi An city (old), including: Minh An, Cam Pho, Son Phong, Cam Nam and Cam Kim. This is the core area of the World Cultural Heritage of Hoi An Ancient Town.
As of early October 2025, the entire ward has nearly 600 enterprises operating in production and business; most of them operating in the service and tourism sectors. Enterprises contribute to creating jobs and income for people; playing a leading role in the economic development of the ward.
Enterprises accompany localities in the fields of social security, cultural activities, sports , festivals, urban beautification, etc.
Many pioneering businesses have implemented green tourism, eco-tourism, and community tourism models; promoted digital transformation, digital economy, night economy, etc. Thereby, contributing significantly to preserving and promoting the World Cultural Heritage of Hoi An Ancient Town to domestic and international friends and tourists.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chairman of Hoi An Ward People's Committee affirmed that the contribution of enterprises not only spread the message "Hoi An Ward - ecology, culture, tourism" but also make Hoi An a safe, friendly and attractive destination.
The locality is committed to always accompanying businesses and entrepreneurs; considering businesses as strategic partners and the central driving force of development.
