Team 584 set out on a mission to collect martyrs' remains in Laos in the 2024-2025 dry season.

Today, October 22, the Steering Committee 515 of Quang Tri province held a departure ceremony, assigning the task to the Martyr's Remains Collection Team 584 (Team 584), under the Provincial Military Command, to carry out the task of searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos in the dry season of 2024-2025. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee 515 attended the ceremony.

In his speech assigning the task, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam emphasized: The work of searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who sacrificed their lives in Laos is an important political task; it is the responsibility of the entire Party, people and army, deeply demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of our nation.

To carry out the task well, the officers and staff of Team 584 must identify this as a sacred responsibility and obligation towards comrades, teammates, fathers and brothers who have fought bravely and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the People and for the noble international mission. It is also to meet the aspirations of leaders, authorities at all levels and relatives of martyrs.

In addition, officers and staff of Team 584 need to master the regulations on international relations; regulations of the laws of Vietnam and Laos; strictly comply with military discipline, regulations of the Ministry of National Defense , and Military Region 4 in foreign relations.

At the same time, do a good job of mass mobilization work to both help the people of Laos and collect information, striving to excellently complete the tasks and targets of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains in the dry season of 2024-2025.

On this occasion, the National Steering Committee 515; Steering Committee 515 of Military Region 4; Provincial Steering Committee 515; Provincial Military Command; Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and Women's Union of Provincial Military Command presented gifts to encourage officers and soldiers of Team 584 to go on duty.
