Provincial Party Secretary Le Thi Thuy inspected the preparations for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam in Duy Tien town.

On the morning of June 25, comrade Le Thi Thuy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council inspected the preparations for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam at the exam sites of Duy Tien A High School and Nguyen Huu Tien High School (Duy Tien town).

Accompanying the Provincial Party Secretary were leaders of the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Party Committee Office; a number of relevant departments and branches and leaders of Duy Tien town.

Provincial leaders inspect preparations for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam — Comrade Le Thi Thuy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, and the working delegation inspected the preparations for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam at a number of testing sites in Duy Tien town.

During the inspection, the leaders of the two schools quickly reported to the Provincial Party Secretary and the delegation on the situation of the candidates and the preparation of the conditions for organizing the exam. Accordingly, at the Duy Tien A High School exam site, there were 591 candidates registered to take the exam, including 406 candidates who were 12th grade students of the school, 5 independent candidates and 180 candidates from the Duy Tien Town Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center.

The total number of candidates registered for the exam at Nguyen Huu Tien High School is 272, including 257 12th grade students of the school and 15 independent candidates. Participating in the two exam sites are 147 officers, teachers and dozens of people from the police, medical , security and service forces.

At the two examination sites, 38 official examination rooms, 6 waiting rooms, and 4 spare examination rooms have been prepared. The conditions of facilities, means, and equipment to ensure security and safety at the examination sites have been fully and carefully prepared. At the same time, there are specific plans to ensure security and safety in the examination area; health care and epidemic prevention plans for examination staff and candidates; coordination with functional agencies to ensure fire safety, ensure power grid during the examination period... Currently, the examination sites have basically prepared fully, in accordance with regulations on facilities, equipment, and working conditions, ready to organize the 2023 High School Graduation Exam well.

After the inspection, the delegation members made recommendations to Duy Tien town and the two examination sites on a number of issues such as: continuing to disseminate examination regulations; having specific plans to strengthen forces to ensure security and safety in the examination area; focusing on measures to coordinate inspection and supervision to promptly handle violations of examination regulations related to high technology; urgently inspect, review and maintain the entire lighting and fan systems in the examination rooms; ensuring traffic safety and creating all favorable conditions for candidates to arrive at the examination sites safely and on time...

In her speech, Provincial Party Secretary Le Thi Thuy acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the locality and the two schools in fully and promptly implementing the instructions of the superiors; doing a good job of propagating and disseminating regulations on the exam; completing the exam review for students and providing professional training for officials and teachers working on the exam; proactively preparing relatively well the conditions for organizing the 2023 High School Graduation Exam. At the same time, she requested the exam sites to absorb the opinions of the working group and absolutely not be subjective or negligent at any stage; continue to complete the preparation work for organizing the exam.

At the inspection locations, the Provincial Party Secretary requested: From now until the exam takes place, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Exam Steering Committee, the Department of Education and Training, Duy Tien town and the exam sites are requested to continue to strictly implement the instructions of the superiors and the province on organizing the exam; propagate to teachers and candidates about the exam regulations; focus on implementing plans to ensure exam safety, prevent cheating using high technology in exams. In addition, review the conditions of facilities and equipment; ensure fire and explosion safety; prepare adequate means, medicine, medical personnel to serve the health care of candidates, officials and teachers; have specific assignments of tasks and responsibilities for members of the Exam Steering Committee at all levels and strengthen coordination in inspection and supervision with inspection forces mobilized to support the province. In particular, proactively and promptly handle all situations arising during the exam, striving for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam in the province to take place safely, seriously, objectively and with quality.
