Provincial Party Secretary Vu Dai Thang received and worked with the Political Commissar of Military Region 3.

On the morning of November 6, in Ha Long City, Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, received and worked with Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Cuong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Military Region 3, on a number of defense and security tasks in the province.

Political Commissar of Military Region 3 Nguyen Quang Cuong congratulated Quang Ninh on the fact that despite many difficulties in 2024, in the past 10 months, Quang Ninh has still achieved positive results in all aspects of work, especially quickly overcoming the consequences and heavy damage caused by storm No. 3, stabilizing people's lives soon, and regaining momentum in production and business of all sectors and fields.

Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, affirmed: Quang Ninh is an important area in terms of national defense and security, with land, sea and air borders, so it regularly receives the attention and direction of the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 3. Since then, Quang Ninh province has always maintained a safe area, effectively serving the local socio-economic development process, building and protecting the Fatherland.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Vu Dai Thang and Political Commissar of Military Region 3 Nguyen Quang Cuong discussed some results achieved in coordination and implementation of some key tasks on local political and defense work; activities towards the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam People's Army on December 22 (1944-2024) and the 35th Anniversary of the National Defense Day on December 22 (1989-2024); and the implementation of Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term in Quang Ninh province.

The two comrades believe that with the tradition of "Discipline and Unity" of the army and people of the Mining Region, Quang Ninh province will continue to successfully carry out local political tasks, especially the goals and targets set by the Resolution of the 15th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress, which will be an important premise for building a development strategy in the coming period.
