According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the day and night of September 3, the North and Central regions will have sunny days, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening; the South will continue to have moderate to heavy rain, concentrated in the afternoon and evening. Warnings of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind may occur during thunderstorms nationwide.

Hanoi capital

- Cloudy, sunny during the day, showers and thunderstorms in some places in the evening and at night. Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature from 25-27 degrees Celsius, highest from 32-34 degrees Celsius.

Northwest

- Cloudy, sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and evening. Light wind. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

- Lowest temperature from 23-26 degrees Celsius, some places below 22 degrees Celsius; highest from 31-34 degrees Celsius, some places above 34 degrees Celsius.

Northeast

- Cloudy, sunny during the day, with showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and evening. Light wind. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.

Ho Chi Minh City

- Cloudy with rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain, concentrated in the afternoon and evening. Southwest wind level 2-3. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting informs about some prominent weather developments at sea today: the tropical convergence zone combined with the low pressure area in the central East Sea is causing scattered showers and thunderstorms over a wide area, affecting many sea areas.

Many sea areas will have thunderstorms during the day and night of September 3, including: the sea area from Quang Ngai to Ca Mau; the sea area from Ca Mau to An Giang; the Gulf of Thailand; the sea area in the northeast of the East Sea and the central and southern East Sea, including the sea area of ​​Truong Sa archipelago. Strong winds and rough seas will appear in the offshore sea area from Khanh Hoa to Lam Dong and the southern East Sea area, with strong southwest winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7-8, waves from 1.5-3.0m high.

Danger warning: during thunderstorms, there is a high possibility of tornadoes, strong gusts of wind level 6-7, accompanied by waves over 2.0m high, posing a danger to ships operating at sea./.
