Epic Games Store is giving away two new games for free

According to VGC , the next free games of Epic Games Store have been revealed. Accordingly, the store will provide two games, The Evil Within and Eternal Threads, for free to PC players from October 19 to October 26.

First released in 2014, The Evil Within is the debut game of Tango Gameworks, a Bethesda-owned studio founded by Shinji Mikami. This is a horror game about disappearances and serial murders, the main character is detective Sebastian Castellanos and his teammates will go to the scene of Beacon Hospital to explore and investigate the mysterious force behind. But suddenly Sebastian hears a loud noise and faints. And from here, the mysterious details as well as the barbaric story have begun.

About Eternal Threads, this is a single-player simulation game combined with a thrilling story puzzle from Cosmonaut Studios, where players are tasked with saving the lives of a group of people and changing their endings in the past.

The Evil Within and Eternal Threads will replace two other games, Blazing Sails and QUBE Ultimate Bundle , which are currently available for free on the Epic Game Store until October 19.

Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney said in March that players would be able to experience more premium Epic Games Store exclusives in the future. And in August, the company announced a new Epic Games Store exclusive program.

The new Epic First Run program will allow developers of all sizes to receive 100% of revenue if they agree to offer their game exclusively on the Epic Games Store for 6 months.

Last month, Epic announced plans to lay off about 830 employees, or 16% of the company's total workforce.
