To celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Northern Power Corporation (October 6, 1969 - October 6, 2024), on the morning of June 7, the Northern Power Corporation coordinated with Thai Binh Power Company to organize the installation of a signboard for the 110 kV Hung Ha 2 transformer station and branch.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the ceremony of mounting the signboard of Hung Ha 2 110kV transformer station.

Attending the event were comrades: Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Do Nguyet Anh, Chairman of the Board of Members, Northern Power Corporation, and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and localities.

The 110kV Hung Ha 2 transformer station and branch project has an investment of over 72 billion VND. This is one of the particularly important projects in supplying electricity to Hung Ha district and neighboring areas. In addition to the construction of the new 110kV Hung Ha 2 transformer station with a capacity of 2x40MVA according to the criteria of an unmanned transformer station, the regional medium voltage grid system was also simultaneously upgraded from 10kV to 22kV, contributing to improving the capacity of the Hung Ha district grid in terms of both power supply and transmission line system.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of the electricity sector attached a signboard to the 110kV Hung Ha 2 transformer station project.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the attention of the Northern Power Corporation to the power grid system of Thai Binh province. In the coming years, the demand for electricity to serve production and business activities and people's lives in the province will continue to increase. The operation of Hung Ha 2 transformer station at this time is of great significance, contributing to reducing losses, improving power quality, reliability of power supply in the hot season, preventing grid overload, reducing power losses, meeting the growth of load to promote economic development in Hung Ha district, as well as ensuring business, production and life of people in the province.
