Chieng An Ward was established on the basis of merging Chieng An Ward, Chieng Xom Commune and Chieng Den Commune, with a population of over 20,000 people, 5 residential groups and 22 villages. After more than 3 months of implementing the 2-level local government model, Chieng An Ward has focused on leading and directing economic development, applying high technology and developing product brands. In the area, there are currently nearly 200 production, business, trade and service establishments; many effective economic development models. Along with promoting the development of trade and e-commerce, Chieng An pays special attention to supporting businesses and business households in reforming administrative procedures, business registration, accessing online public services, contributing to improving the quality of service for people and businesses.
