Raising awareness among youth about sustainable poverty reduction

On October 6, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Finance coordinated with the Provincial Youth Union to organize a propaganda conference on "Raising awareness for youth about the Party's policies and the State's laws on sustainable poverty reduction". Attending the conference were representatives of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Finance, leaders of the Son La Provincial Youth Union and 80 youth union members who are students of Son La College.

The youth union members were informed by the reporters of the Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch and Tay Bac University about the following contents: Policies to support economic development, loans, and career creation for youth in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; the role of youth in sustainable poverty reduction; promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital transformation in economic development.

The propaganda conference helped the youth union members to supplement their knowledge about the Party and State's policies on supporting youth loans for economic development; encouraged the youth union members to boldly exploit the potential and strengths in the locality to establish themselves and start a business. Thereby, effectively promoting the role of youth in sustainable poverty reduction in the province.
