Currently, the final preparations for the inauguration ceremony are being rushed to completion.

In recent days, the National Children's Hospital, Branch 2, has been urgently preparing for the inauguration ceremony, from completing the landscape, installing equipment, to reviewing and arranging the examination room area, treatment area and accompanying facilities.

Hundreds of officers, engineers, and workers from construction, technical, and logistics units are highly focused, working tirelessly day and night to complete every last detail. At the same time, officers from the National Children's Hospital directly supervise, monitor the progress, and accept each item. This close coordination ensures that every step is completed with the best quality when put into operation, ready to receive and serve patients.

Many leading advanced equipment in the field of Pediatrics such as: Testing systems, diagnostic imaging, emergency resuscitation, operating room systems, etc. have been tested, ensuring full compliance with technical and professional safety requirements as prescribed by the Ministry of Health .

With 300 inpatient beds scientifically arranged in a spacious, comfortable space, meeting the needs of long-term care and treatment for children and their families.

The outpatient area is also completed with a reception area, examination room, and emergency room fully equipped with necessary equipment to receive and promptly handle cases right from the first days of operation. Another important item is the pharmacy and medical supplies warehouse. All essential drugs and medical supplies have been stocked, arranged, and stored according to regulations.

The Central Children's Hospital Pharmacy, Branch 2, is also ready to operate to ensure adequate supply of medicine for patients.

Along with the facilities, the professional human resources are also carefully prepared. Experts and leading doctors from facility 1 will take turns working at facility 2, ensuring that all children coming to facility 2 will have access to medical services and expertise equivalent to facility 1, bringing peace of mind to families, while creating connection and consistency in the treatment process.

Located in Kieu Phu commune, Hanoi City, the second facility of the National Children's Hospital has an investment of more than 880 billion VND, with a total land area of ​​about 6 hectares, of which the construction area is about 7,530m2, including 1 administrative block, 1 paraclinical block, 2 inpatient treatment blocks of 5 floors, 01 basement, and accompanying synchronous technical infrastructure items.

The Hospital's second facility is organized with 11 clinical departments, 4 paraclinical departments and 1 functional unit, ensuring full implementation of emergency, medical examination and treatment and rehabilitation tasks for children.

With comprehensive preparation of facilities, human resources and professional processes, the National Children's Hospital, Facility 2, will quickly go into stable operation,⁹ contributing to reducing the burden on Facility 1, while providing children with a modern, safe and humane healthcare environment.
