In Group D (Southeast region), Ba Ria-Vung Tau University team unfortunately lost on penalty kicks to Lac Hong University team, thus losing the ticket to the final round of Group D, competing for the only ticket to the final round. Before that, Dong Nai University of Technology team beat Binh Duong University team with a score of 5-0, winning the right to play in the decisive match. Yesterday's Group F qualifiers (Southwest region) witnessed an impressive 3-0 victory of Cuu Long University against Can Tho University, while Nam Can Tho University shared points with Dong Thap University in a 0-0 draw.

The qualifying round of group C (South Central - Central Highlands region) kicked off yesterday at Nha Trang University and witnessed the success of the host team. Nha Trang University defeated Da Lat University 5-0, while Nha Trang College of Tourism defeated Pacific University 4-0.

Today (January 11), the TNSV THACO cup 2025 tournament continues to take place with matches in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southwest region.
