According to a report from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Vietnam's pork output is forecast to increase by 3% to 3.8 million tons in 2024 , thanks to effective African swine fever control and policies to expand the pig herd.
In addition, domestic pig prices may continue to increase at the end of the year due to high demand during the Lunar New Year, along with the impact of storm No. 3 disrupting supply. Experts recommend that farmers closely monitor the market and maintain stable pig herds to optimize profits.
