Pig price today June 30: Entering a sharp decline

The price of live pigs has lost the average mark of 70,000 VND/kg and is showing signs of a sharp decrease in the Central and Southern regions.

The price of live pigs today decreased sharply in the Central Highlands, many localities in the region simultaneously decreased by 1,000 VND/kg. Specifically, after adjustment, the price of live pigs in Lam Dong and Ninh Thuan has dropped to 70,000 VND/kg; Quang Binh to 68,000 VND/kg; Quang Nam , Khanh Hoa and Dak Lak to 67,000 VND/kg; Binh Dinh to 66,000 VND/kg. The purchase price of live pigs in the region is decreasing to an average of 68,000 VND/kg, but there are localities purchasing at 66,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the country.

In the South, the price of live pigs today recorded a slight decrease, with a common decrease of 1,000 VND/kg. After the downward adjustment, the price of live pigs in Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Ca Mau took the lead with 72,000 VND/kg, the highest in the country. The group of localities with a selling price of 71,000 VND/kg for live pigs includes Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Long An, and Can Tho, dominating the region. The group with a price of 70,000 VND/kg includes Tay Ninh, Dong Thap, An Giang, Vinh Long, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Tien Giang, Bac Lieu, Tra Vinh ...

Meanwhile, the northern pig market is still maintaining a stable trend. According to records recorded at the beginning of the week, the price of live pigs in this area fluctuated from 68,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. Specifically, the level of 69,000 VND/kg appeared in Hanoi, Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Vinh Phuc and Tuyen Quang. The group of localities including Yen Bai , Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam and Ninh Binh are selling live pigs at 68,000 VND/kg, the lowest in the region.

In general, the price of live pigs nationwide is gradually decreasing, losing the average mark of 70,000 VND/kg and gradually falling back to the same price level a year ago. Currently, pork consumption in the market has not yet had strong growth momentum, pork supply in the household farming area has not recovered so the price of live pigs is still high./.
