Northern pig price
The Northern market on the morning of September 11 only recorded an increase in price in Hai Phong City, reaching 61,000 VND/kg, equal to Phu Tho and this is also the highest level in the country.

In the remaining provinces and cities in the region, the price of live pigs remained stable at 57,000 - 60,000 VND/kg; Lai Chau and Son La were the two localities with the lowest price at 57,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in Central Highlands
This morning, the Central Highlands region kept prices unchanged, with traders purchasing at around 57,000 - 59,000 VND/kg.
Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Lam Dong are currently among the highest in the region with prices of 58,000 VND/kg. Following are Ha Tinh, Gia Lai, Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa, also trading around 58,000 VND/kg, while the level of 57,000 VND/kg appears in Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang and Quang Ngai.
Southern pig price
Pig prices in the South this morning were also stable, similar to the Central region, fluctuating in the range of 59,000 - 60,000 VND/kg.
Among them, Dong Thap, Tay Ninh and Ca Mau lead with 60,000 VND/kg, while other localities simultaneously keep it at 59,000 VND/kg.
Overall, the domestic pig price level remains stable, with no major fluctuations. However, experts predict that supply and demand may change in the coming time as the epidemic situation in some places becomes more complicated.
African swine fever in Quang Tri
On September 10, Mr. Cao Vu Dang - Vice Chairman of Tuyen Son Commune People's Committee - said that the locality has decided to declare the end of African swine fever, according to Quang Tri Newspaper.
This disease broke out in Tuyen Son commune in early July, the People's Committee of the commune announced the epidemic on July 6. Up to that time, the disease appeared in 18 households in Tan Son, Tan Ap, Tan Duc, village 1 and village 4, with a total of 193 sick, dead and destroyed pigs, weighing 12,220 kg.
From the last outbreak on August 11 to September 1, the commune did not record any new cases, the epidemic was under control, so the People's Committee of the commune decided to declare the end of the epidemic.
Previously, the People's Committee of Tuyen Son commune established a steering committee to urgently deploy epidemic prevention measures. The staff and experts of the Commune Economic Department and the village leaders directly went to the grassroots to collect samples, check, support people in handling sick pigs, destroy them and count the damage.
Although the epidemic has been declared over, the People's Committee of Tuyen Son commune continues to coordinate with the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station No. 1 and villages to monitor and manage livestock activities, and at the same time deploy solutions to restore production after the epidemic.
