Gia Lai: Organizing a meeting of the Provincial Council for Coordination of Dissemination and Education of Law

(gialai.gov.vn) – On the morning of October 9, at the headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee, Comrade Nguyen Huu Que - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Coordination Council for Dissemination and Legal Education (PBGDPL) of Gia Lai province chaired the meeting of the Provincial Council. Attending the meeting were Comrade Vo Anh Tuan - Director of the Department of Justice, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Council, along with members and the Secretariat assisting the Council.

At the meeting, delegates heard the announcement of the Decisions to establish the Provincial Coordination Council for Legal Dissemination; Decision to promulgate the List of members of the Provincial Coordination Council for Legal Dissemination; Decision to promulgate the Operating Regulations of the Provincial Coordination Council for Legal Dissemination.

Next, the Council members focused on discussing and giving opinions on the draft Decision on assigning tasks to members of the Provincial Coordination Council for Legal Dissemination; Operational plan of the Provincial Coordination Council for Legal Dissemination in the fourth quarter of 2025; Plan to inspect legal dissemination work in the province in 2025.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Que acknowledged the results and efforts of the Department of Justice - the Standing Agency of the Council and the sense of responsibility and close coordination of the sectors in advising on the implementation of Decision No. 26/2025/QD-TTg dated August 4, 2025 of the Prime Minister on the composition, tasks and powers of the Coordination Council for Legal Dissemination.

Regarding the upcoming tasks, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Justice - the Standing Agency of the Council to soon complete the drafts: Decision on assigning tasks to members of the Council for coordinating the dissemination and education of provincial law; Council's Operation Plan for the fourth quarter of 2025; and the Council's Inspection Plan for 2025 to promulgate and implement, ensuring progress and quality of work.

With the second largest area in the country, a large number of ethnic minorities, and uneven access to the law among people in different regions, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the work of disseminating and educating the law, providing legal aid, and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, business households, and individual businesses in the coming time should focus on the grassroots, especially in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, mountainous areas, coastal areas.

It is recommended that agencies and units that are members of the Council be proactive in propagating, disseminating, and communicating policies and laws that their agencies have chaired, drafted, and advised on, as well as policies and laws in the management fields of the industry and locality. Continue to focus on applying information technology, implementing digital transformation in the work of communicating and disseminating policies and laws; innovate, diversify, and create forms of dissemination, legal education, legal aid, and legal support for small and medium-sized enterprises, ensuring focus, key points, and suitability for each group of subjects being propagated and disseminated.

At the same time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed to strengthen the coordination responsibility of agencies and units with the Standing Agency of the Coordination Council for Legal Dissemination in disseminating and popularizing new legal documents of the industry; reflecting the activities of disseminating and educating the law, providing legal aid and legal support for small and medium-sized enterprises of agencies, industries and localities through the channels of disseminating and educating the law managed by the Standing Agency of the Coordination Council for Legal Dissemination such as: Gia Lai Judicial Newsletter, Provincial Electronic Information Page for disseminating and educating the law, Provincial Fanpage for disseminating and educating the law.
