The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council met to agree on the expected content of the 4th Session (special) and the regular Session at the end of 2025.

(GLO)- On the morning of October 9, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a meeting to discuss and agree on the expected content and program of the 4th Session (special session) and the regular session at the end of 2025, the Provincial People's Council, term XII, 2021-2026, and to consider and decide on a number of contents under its authority.

Comrade Rah Lan Chung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and agreed on the expected content and program of the 4th Session (special topic) and the program of the regular Session at the end of 2025.

Delegates commented and discussed the reports on registration for building and promulgating the list of resolutions of the Provincial People's Council; the report proposing the application of simplified procedures in building resolutions on regulations on fees and charges under the decision-making authority of the Provincial People's Council and on policies and regimes for people working outside the payroll quota at Associations assigned by the Party and the State in the province; the report of the Provincial People's Committee on adjusting the state budget expenditure estimate for 2025 to supplement the budget estimate for the Provincial Police to support investment in domestic water supply systems for the Commune and Ward Police in the province.

At the same time, discuss the draft on the contents of guidelines for appointing commune-level People's Council delegates after the arrangement and the implementation of regimes and policies for appointed commune-level People's Council positions that are not People's Council delegates; propose handling the petition of Binh An Gia Lai Hospital Company Limited; Plan to survey the implementation of the Provincial People's Council's resolution in the cultural and social fields; report on the results of handling the petition on building the Ia Drang Valley Victory monument in 1965 in Gia Lai province; report of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council on the results of the survey of a number of projects and irrigation works expected to be included in the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2026-2030...

In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also proposed to submit to the Provincial People's Council meeting a report assessing the implementation of the two-level local government, difficulties and obstacles. In addition, there are reports on amending and supplementing a number of resolutions related to policy adjustments for synchronous implementation and application throughout Gia Lai province...

The 4th Session (special session) is scheduled to take place on October 27, at the Provincial Convention Center (01 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Quy Nhon Ward); The regular session at the end of 2025 is scheduled to take place from December 8 to 10, at Hall 2-9 (Pleiku Ward).

Concluding the meeting, based on the contents and opinions, Comrade Rah Lan Chung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - agreed on the time and location of the two meetings.

Comrade Rah Lan Chung requested the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments and branches to review the list of draft resolutions to be submitted to the meeting; for eligible contents, they can be submitted early in the upcoming thematic meeting of the Provincial People's Council.

Specialized departments that advise on submissions and draft resolutions should proactively submit early for contents that require comments from the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, ensuring compliance with procedures, quality and time schedule as prescribed. Provincial People's Council Committees closely coordinate with specialized agencies of the Provincial People's Committee to conduct verification to ensure the quality of documents submitted to the regular year-end meeting of the Provincial People's Council.

At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee should proactively review issues of concern to voters regarding the implementation of payment policies and regimes for people who have left their jobs according to Decree 178; adjusting planning and difficulties of a number of key, large-scale projects; management of resources and minerals, combating illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing, etc.
