Unleashing the power of community
Ka Do village (old) is located along Highway 20, is an old residential area of Ka Do commune, home to many K'Ho households.

Previously, the road system in the village was narrow and seriously degraded, making travel and transporting agricultural products extremely difficult, especially during the rainy season.
Realizing the existing difficulties, Mr. Ma Ren took the lead in donating more than 900m² of land to expand the inter-village road. Not stopping at setting an example, he also persistently went from house to house to mobilize people to join hands and unite.
At first, many people were hesitant because land is a valuable asset. I told the people: when the road is opened, our family will be the first to benefit. The road is wide, cars can go in, children go to school, people can sell agricultural products more conveniently. Everyone was happy and followed suit.

Thanks to his skillful mobilization and exemplary leadership, many households quickly responded, donated land, and contributed working days to concretize the road. Up to now, the spacious, clean road has become the pride of the whole village, contributing to the completion of traffic criteria in the construction of new rural areas.

From Mr. Ma Ren’s example, the movement of donating land to build roads and beautify villages in Ka Do (old) has spread strongly. The wide concrete roads not only help people travel and transport agricultural products conveniently but also contribute to changing the appearance of the countryside.

Every small individual action, when linked with community benefits, will create great strength, contributing to the effective implementation of the National Target Program on new rural construction.

Not only is he a pioneer in the movement of donating land for road construction, Mr. Ma Ren is also a dedicated Front cadre. He is currently the Head of the Village Front Work Committee with many activities closely associated with the People.
At work, he persistently mobilized people to well implement the policies of the Party and State; actively propagated the building of cultural life, maintained security and order, and environmental sanitation.
As an active farmer, he soon applied the high-tech vegetable growing model in greenhouses, helping his family increase income and is willing to share production experience with villagers.

Mr. Luong Hoang Man, Chairman of the People's Council of Ka Do commune, commented: "Mr. Ma Ren is a prestigious person in the community, always putting the common interest first. His voluntary donation of land for road construction not only has material significance, but also arouses the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the people in building new rural areas."

Over the years, he has not only donated land to build roads, but has also been at the forefront of all matters, big and small: Mobilizing people to convert ineffective crops to high-yield vegetables and flowers; providing guidance on raising livestock and poultry to increase income; organizing weekly cleaning of village roads; advising young people to stay away from social evils; supporting poor households with production experience...

As a prestigious person in the ethnic minority area, he was recognized by Lam Dong province for many achievements in implementing ethnic policies such as certificates of merit from the Provincial Ethnic Committee for many consecutive years for labor production and security protection; along with many awards at his place of residence for forest protection and building cultural life.
Mr. Ma Ren's practical work not only contributes to completing the traffic criteria in new rural construction, but also demonstrates the sense of responsibility, compassion and pride of the K'Ho people in the renovation period.
