At 8:45 a.m. on June 21, SJC Company maintained the price of SJC gold bars at 74.98 million VND/tael for buying and 76.98 million VND/tael for selling. Four state-owned commercial banks, including Vietcombank, Agribank , BIDV and VietinBank, also maintained the selling price of SJC gold bars at 76.98 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, the prices of plain gold rings and 24K jewelry gold of all kinds were adjusted up by companies this morning. SJC Company listed the buying price of gold rings at 74 million VND/tael, selling price at 75.6 million VND/tael, an increase of 350,000 VND compared to yesterday and an increase of more than half a million VND per tael in the past 2 days.
The price of gold rings increased following the upward trend of the world gold price. In the international market, this precious metal was traded at 2,359 USD/ounce this morning, up nearly 30 USD/ounce compared to the previous session. This is also the second consecutive increase of this asset, with a total increase of more than 50 USD/ounce.
The world gold price increased sharply while the price of SJC gold bars remained stable, helping to narrow the gap. Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 72.5 million VND/tael, about 4.4 million VND lower than SJC gold bars and about 3.1 million VND/tael lower than gold rings. This is an unprecedented low gap in many years.
