At 10:30 p.m., the world gold price was only 2,632 USD/ounce. The decrease in the world gold price was equivalent to 2.54 million VND/tael.

Converted according to the exchange rate listed at the bank, the world gold price is equivalent to 80.94 million VND/tael.

Recently, the world gold price has fluctuated within a very wide range, evaporating 227.8 USD/ounce after the US presidential election results.

Then, in just 5 sessions, the world gold price increased by about 162 USD/ounce, equivalent to 4.98 million VND/tael.

But after reaching 2,716.9 USD/ounce, world gold prices plummeted again tonight.

The sudden plunge in world gold prices has been hotly discussed on gold forums tonight.

Many speculated that the sharp drop in gold prices came just before the release of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting minutes on November 27. Markets were also closed this weekend for Thanksgiving.

According to expert Tran Duy Phuong, the price of gold has decreased because it has been increasing continuously in recent days. In addition, there is some information affecting such as the newly elected US President Donald Trump choosing the next Minister of Finance to be a person with conservative and tough thinking.

In addition, the Russia-Ukraine war shows signs of cooling down, and there is information that Israel and Lebanon are preparing for a ceasefire.

Domestically, the price of SJC gold bars and gold rings also cooled down. The selling price of SJC gold bars at the end of today decreased by 400,000 VND/tael compared to the end of last week, selling at 86.6 million VND/tael, buying at 84.6 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, the selling price of 9999 gold rings is 85.6 million VND/tael, 1 million VND/tael lower than the price of gold bars.

The difference between buying and selling prices of gold is 1.6 million VND/tael for gold rings and 2 million VND/tael for SJC gold bars.

At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the selling price of gold rings today decreased to 85.98 million VND/tael, buying price at 84.58 million VND/tael.

DOJI Company's selling price of 9999 gold rings decreased from 86.6 million VND/tael to 85.8 million VND/tael, buying price is 84.3 million VND/tael.

The sharp drop in world gold prices tonight also caused the gap between domestic and world gold prices to widen.

Compared to the converted world gold price, the price of SJC gold bars is 5.66 million VND/tael higher, while the price of gold rings is 4.66 million VND/tael higher.
