RON95-III gasoline price decreased by nearly 500 VND/liter

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just officially announced the management of gasoline prices from 3:00 p.m. today, September 25.

At the management session this afternoon, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance adjusted the price of gasoline down simultaneously and slightly increased the price of oil.

Specifically, E5RON92 gasoline: no higher than VND 19,618/liter (down VND 368/liter compared to the current base price), lower than RON95-III gasoline by VND 547/liter;

RON95-III gasoline: no higher than VND 20,165/liter (down VND 443/liter compared to the current base price);

Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than VND 18,658/liter (down VND 47/liter compared to current base price);

Kerosene: not higher than VND 18,628/liter (increase of VND 84/liter compared to current base price);

180CST 3.5S mazut oil: not higher than VND 15,209/kg (increase of VND 79/kg compared to current base price).

In this operating period, the authorities did not make any provisions or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, kerosene, and fuel oil.

Price adjustments are determined by key petroleum traders and petroleum distributors, but no earlier than 3:00 p.m. on September 25.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade also said it will coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and supervise the implementation of the responsibility of ensuring the supply of gasoline to the market by gasoline traders and will strictly handle violations (if any).

According to the regulator, the world oil market in this regulatory period is affected by key factors such as: OPEC+ increased oil exports; increased geopolitical tensions in the Middle East; ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Ukraine continued to attack Russian energy facilities...

The above factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate up and down in recent days depending on the product.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on September 18 and the adjustment period on September 25 is: 78.604 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (down 1.950 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 2.42%);

80,474 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (down 2,202 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 2.66%); 87,274 USD/barrel of kerosene (up 0,562 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.65%); 87,902 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (down 0,176 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.20%); 404,720 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (up 3,134 USD/ton, equivalent to an increase of 0.78%).
