The Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism issues, adjusts and revokes Business Eligibility Licenses for karaoke services and discotheque services in Gia Lai province.

Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1492/QD-UBND dated August 20, 2025 on authorizing the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to issue, adjust and revoke Business Eligibility Licenses for karaoke services and discotheque services in Gia Lai province.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Gia Lai province authorized the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to issue, adjust and revoke Business Eligibility Licenses for karaoke services and discotheque services in Gia Lai province.

Specifically: Procedures for granting a License for eligibility to conduct karaoke business; Procedures for granting a License to adjust a License for eligibility to conduct karaoke business; Procedures for revoking a License for eligibility to conduct karaoke business; Procedures for granting a License for eligibility to conduct discotheque business; Procedures for granting a License to adjust a License for eligibility to conduct discotheque business; Procedures for revoking a License for eligibility to conduct discotheque business.

The Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism issues, adjusts and revokes Business Eligibility Licenses for karaoke services and discotheque services in Gia Lai province.

Authorization period: From the effective date of this Decision until December 31, 2027 (In case during the authorization period, if the provisions of law change regarding the authorization content specified in this Article, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration, adjustment, and termination of the authorization content accordingly).

Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to be responsible before the law and the Provincial People's Committee for the implementation of the authorized contents. Effectively implement the assigned contents in accordance with the order, procedures, authority and deadline in Article 1 of this Decision. Timely summarize the difficulties and problems in the implementation process, propose the Provincial People's Committee to consider and adjust accordingly.

Advise on the publication of the List of administrative procedures and submit for approval the internal process for handling authorized administrative procedures in Article 1 of this Decision according to regulations.

Issue regulations on the operation of the Appraisal Team to grant and adjust the License for eligibility to operate karaoke services and discotheque services in Gia Lai province.

Periodically report to the Provincial People's Committee on implementation results (integrated into the Report on administrative procedure control work).

Summarize, evaluate and report to the Provincial People's Committee the results of performing authorized tasks when the authorization period expires.

The Provincial Police; Department of Construction and other relevant agencies and units, People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for coordinating with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to send members to participate in the appraisal team at the business locations of karaoke services and discotheque services to ensure compliance with regulations.
