Vocal teacher sings bolero, making Anh Tho ask to be a fan

The first time she heard the bolero recording of vocal instructor Thu Huong, Anh Tho asked to become her fan.

The launch of the bolero project of vocal lecturer Thu Huong in Hanoi was almost like a meeting of the "Thanh Hoa fellow countrymen". There were singers Anh Tho, Le Anh Dung, Ho Quang Tam. Singer Anh Tho was the first to share her feelings about her junior's new music product. "When I heard Huong sing bolero, I immediately wanted to become her fan", Anh Tho shared.

Singer Anh Tho also said that she and Thu Huong have known each other for a long time because they are both from Thanh Hoa and have also followed Thu Huong's musical journey. From that, she found Thu Huong's transition from singing folk music to bolero very reasonable.

"Huong sings bolero very affectionately and smoothly like her daily experiences. I think Huong's change to singing bolero is very correct. Actually, if everyone likes to sing bolero well, you should first become famous in the North and then go to the South," Anh Tho gave advice and predictions.

Thu Huong's bolero project consists of 2 parts. Part one is the CD Our Story, which includes 10 lyrical and bolero songs familiar to the audience such as: Loving a distant person (Hoang Phuong), The story of a shirt-knitting person's love (Truong Sa), A beautiful teardrop ( Chau Ky), A loving embrace (Do Kim Bang), Loving petals (Hoang Trong), The first spring (Tuan Khanh)... These are songs that have accompanied the years. In the CD, Thu Huong invited 3 singers to sing duets: Le Anh Dung, Luong Huy and Ho Quang Tam. The second product of the project is the MV Foggy city (Huynh Anh), made in Tam Dao with romantic images.

Regarding this project, Thu Huong said: "I have been active in the arts for more than 10 years, and now I have decided to release my first CD. Besides my work as a lecturer, I have also made a few MVs but did not invest too much. Having gone through the ups and downs of life, I feel more mature and feel the songs more deeply, so I want to make this product."

Meanwhile, Le Anh Dung said he always feels emotional when singing bolero with Thu Huong. In life, he also respects her very much: "Thu Huong is very enthusiastic, helpful, caring, and sharing with everyone. She is always active in charity work. I am very grateful for her beautiful soul. When singing with Thu Huong, I easily get emotional," Anh Dung said.

Thu Huong (real name Vien Thi Huong) graduated from the Vietnam National Academy of Music. She is a freelance singer and teaches at the Vocal - Piano Department of the Central University of Art Education. Thu Huong won first prize in the Thanh Hoa Television Singing Contest, the Ha Tay Television Singing Contest and reached the final round of the Central region of the Sao Mai 2007 contest.
