Professor Dao Van Dong becomes the new Principal of Pacific University

The ceremony was attended by a large number of delegates including local and business leaders, lecturers, students and especially more than 760 new students of the 2024 class.

At the ceremony, Pacific University announced the decision of the University Council Chairman on appointing Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong to the position of Rector. With extensive experience in the field of university management and education, Prof. Dr. Dao Van Dong expressed his determination to accompany the school's teaching staff in building the Pacific University brand to reach regional and international levels.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Pacific University welcomes more than 760 new students and trainees to join its growing community. With a policy of not increasing tuition fees for the entire course, at the opening ceremony, the school awarded Sovico Group scholarships worth more than 2 billion VND to all new students of the 2024 class.

Of which, 2 valedictorians, 2 salutatorians, and 33 other new students received scholarships from 50% of first-year tuition to 100% of full-course tuition.

Previously, the school also awarded 35 laptops and 25 scholarships worth 100% of first semester tuition to new students with admission scores of 24 or higher, with a total value of more than 600 million VND.

Professor Dao Van Dong, Principal of Pacific University, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the new school year.
