In anticipation of the complicated developments of the storm and rain situation, based on the operating and water regulation process of Ke Go reservoir approved by the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, to ensure the safety of Ke Go reservoir, Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited has issued a notice that from 8:00 a.m. on September 27, the water flow through Doc Mieu spillway will be increased to a flow rate of 20 - 120m3 /second.

Along with Ke Go Lake, to proactively respond to the forecast of heavy rain caused by storm Bualoi, Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited will simultaneously operate spillway discharge at 4 large reservoirs in Ha Tinh province, including Song Rac, Kim Son, Tau Voi, and Khe Xai lakes.
The spillway discharge will start at 8am on September 27, with a flow rate of 3-80m3 /second. The end time will depend on weather conditions and lake water levels.
Along with the proactive spillover of large reservoirs, the water level at many small reservoirs such as Thuong Tuy, Khe Giao, Da Den, Mac Khe, Van Vo, Moc Huong, Da Cat, Khe Lau, Khe Nay, Dam Mung... has freely overflowed, and is currently approximately equal to the spillway threshold elevation.
In case of rain, the water level of these lakes will increase and flow freely through the spillway with an expected flow rate of 1 - 90m 3 /second.
Nam Ha Tinh Irrigation Company Limited requests localities and units in the downstream area to urgently notify, urge and guide people to implement measures to ensure safety of life and property.
In response to the complicated developments of storm Bualoi, implementing the directive of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, the Border Guard Command - Military Command of Ha Tinh province implemented a sea ban from 7:30 a.m. on September 27 to ensure the safety of fishermen.
The Border Guard Command of Ha Tinh province has sent a telegram directing units on the two routes to regularly monitor and grasp the developments of storm Bualoi on mass media; strictly maintain duty regimes, and be ready with forces and means to participate in handling situations when they arise.
At the same time, develop a plan to direct and inspect the implementation of prevention and response to storm Bualoi and a plan to use forces and means to prevent and respond to storm Bualoi. Establish 2 inspection teams of the Provincial Border Guard Command to direct and inspect the implementation of prevention and response to storms in the coastal units.
