The Regional Command and its affiliated units presented more than 1,300 gifts with a total value of over 150 million VND, along with many other meaningful gifts such as piggy banks, lanterns, greeting cards, toys, school supplies, etc.
The gifts are simple but contain the love, sharing and deep care of naval officers and soldiers for the "little rear" - the place that gives spiritual strength to fathers - soldiers at the forefront.

In particular, the Mid-Autumn Festival program "Dads at the Platform - Children at home with friends" organized by Naval Region 2 left many emotions. Children were immersed in the bustling atmosphere with lion dances, performances, folk games, met Uncle Cuoi and Sister Hang; especially, they were able to watch online images of fathers working on the DK1 platform, listen to Mid-Autumn Festival wishes, and messages of love from the front of the waves.

The moment the wishes from the oil rig echoed through the screen, many children's eyes were filled with emotion. Even though their fathers were guarding the open sea, firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, their love was always directed towards their beloved home. "Dad is at the oil rig - Children are at home with friends", that bridge of love has bridged the gap between the sea and the mainland, between officers, soldiers and children, to make the Mid-Autumn Festival more complete and warm.

Through the program, the image of a steadfast naval soldier in the middle of the ocean not only arouses pride, but also sows the seeds of love and responsibility in the hearts of children. This is a meaningful occasion to
educate , foster personality, foster family affection, solidarity and community cohesion; at the same time, encourage the children of officers and soldiers whose fathers and mothers are on duty at sea and islands, helping them have a joyful and warm Mid-Autumn Festival, adding motivation to strive to become good children, good students, and good citizens of the country.
