Hai Duong has 15 delegates attending the meeting with veterans and former youth volunteers who participated in the national Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

Leaders of the Veterans Association of Hai Duong province met with delegates

Hai Duong has 15 delegates attending this meeting, including: People's Armed Forces Hero Le Xuan Senh and 12 veterans, 2 former youth volunteers who directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign. Among them, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Ban (born in 1927, in Sao Do Ward, Chi Linh), is the oldest. The veterans and former youth volunteers are all in good health, ensuring participation in the activities of the meeting program.

Hai Duong Provincial Veterans Association coordinated with the Provincial Military Command to send military doctors to follow the delegation to take care of the delegates.

The meeting with veterans and former youth volunteers who participated in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign was jointly organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association on April 23. This is one of the activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).
