“The results I have today are partly thanks to my own efforts but also thanks to the enthusiastic support of my friends and teachers,” Linh shared.
Four years ago, Nguyen Thi Khanh Linh was admitted early to Foreign Trade University through a combination of high school transcripts and third prize in the provincial English competition. That year, the female student from Thuan Thanh High School No. 1 (Bac Ninh) also achieved a very high high school graduation exam score of 28.05 points (including 9.6 in Math; 9.25 in Physics and 9.2 in English) - a score that could pass all majors at Foreign Trade University that year.
The female student said she chose Foreign Trade University because she saw many talented people entering and also starting their development from this school. She herself likes the field of economics, so Khanh Linh did not hesitate.
I chose to study International Economics because I think this is a major that is strong in research – the right direction for me. Khanh Linh said that the thing I am happiest about is that when I graduate, I feel that this is still the right decision.

Achieving perfect scores with all A's on her report card, Khanh Linh believes that she has no special secret but simply focuses on the lectures of the teachers in class. She has a habit of taking notes on important knowledge points to make it easier to remember.
“I don’t study by reviewing knowledge just before the exam, but try to understand deeply each lesson and stage. So, when the exam is near, my job is just to summarize, instead of being passive and waiting until the last minute, which is both hasty and harder to remember,” Khanh Linh said.
She participates in scientific research and is the author of 4 scientific articles (2 articles published in international conference proceedings, 1 article published in the Journal of Economics and Forecasting, 1 article published in the school magazine). Of which 2 articles are written in English.
Nguyen Thi Khanh Linh received the school's scholarship for students with excellent academic performance for 7 consecutive semesters. Not only is she a good student, Linh is also the deputy secretary of the administrative class.
She sees her excellent graduation certificate with perfect scores as just an initial success, she still has to continue to make efforts. Linh is starting to research universities because she wants to study abroad in Europe, pursuing majors in economic management or finance. “I want to focus on getting more certificates as well as looking for learning opportunities. During that time, I will find a job as a research assistant to gain experience and accumulate experience for myself,” she shared.

I chose to major in Logistics and Supply Chain Management because this is a broad major, related to many fields and after graduation I can work in many positions and stages in businesses.
Having achieved the results today, Linh believes that she always prioritized studying and maintained her learning spirit throughout her university years. According to Linh, diligence is very important. She tried not to miss a single class. “In class, I listened directly to the lectures from the teachers, which helped me grasp the knowledge easily and saved time reviewing at home. From there, reviewing for exams became easier,” Linh shared.
During the study process, especially near exams, Linh often re-reads basic theoretical knowledge before applying it to practice or solving exercises.
Khanh Linh said that being an “English major” was also an advantage during her studies at the Foreign Trade University. “In my curriculum, the basic and specialized subjects are taught in English. Having a foundation in English makes it easier for me to absorb knowledge. Especially in the process of scientific research, it helps me to find more information,” Linh shared.

Khanh Linh is the author of 5 scientific articles (2 published in international conference proceedings, 1 published in the Finance Journal, 2 published in the school conference proceedings), of which 4 were written in English.
