South Korea sets conditions for arms aid to Ukraine

KBS TV channel quoted the head of the South Korean National Security Agency, Chang Ho-jin, as saying that the country will lift restrictions on providing weapons to Ukraine in case Russia provides modern military technologies to North Korea within the framework of bilateral cooperation.

“It all depends on what Russia will do. Is there any limit for us if Russia supplies high-precision weapons to North Korea?” Chang Ho-jin said.

However, Mr. Chang Ho-jin did not reveal what kind of weapons and when Seoul might provide Kiev because this could “influence” Moscow's stance.

During Russian President Vladimir Putin's official visit to Pyongyang, a strategic cooperation agreement with North Korea was signed. This agreement binds Russia and North Korea to come to each other's aid if one is invaded.

Shortly thereafter, South Korea announced that it would “reconsider” its stance on the issue of supplying weapons to Ukraine. Currently, Seoul does not directly provide military aid to Kiev. Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that if South Korea decides to supply weapons to Ukraine, Moscow will take measures that Seoul will regret.

Has Ukraine failed on the Kharkov front?

In response to the claims of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) about the successes on the Kharkov front, a Russian soldier named Alexander spoke to FederalPress (FP) about the reality on the battlefield.

“If the enemy claims that they have destroyed a lot and everything is going according to their wishes, the situation on the battlefield proves the opposite,” said the Russian serviceman.

Alexander also commented on the statement of the spokesman for the “Khortitsa” strategic-operational group Nazar Voloshin that the AFU allegedly defeated Russian units in Volchansk, as well as in Tikha and Glubokoe, Kharkov region. “When they occupied two landing sites near Glubokoye and said that the Russians did not flee, in fact the area is turning into a gray zone,” said soldier Alexander.

Accordingly, reports of any victory or advance by the Ukrainian army are aimed at creating a one-sided media image of a victorious counteroffensive, while the reality is the opposite.

Earlier, Verkhovna Rada Vice President Maryana Bezuglaya said that the Russian army had breached the AFU defenses in the Toretsk and Donetsk regions and also blamed General Yuri Sodol for this AFU defeat.

Russian soldiers use motorcycles in attack missions

According to the Telegram page of the Ministry of Defense , soldiers of the Vostok Operational Group from Transbaikalia are actively using motorcycles in operations to attack the AFU defensive position near Ugledar.

Ukrainian assault groups often secretly assemble near AFU defenses and suddenly use motorcycles to quickly approach Ukrainian defense lines and attack. “Motorcycles are almost standard equipment here. It is very difficult to hit such a small and extremely maneuverable target,” the Russian Defense Ministry informed.

At high speed, the motorcycle soldiers rushed into enemy trenches and immediately engaged in combat, during which time Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators supported them from the air.

According to members of the assault unit, when entering the trenches, they knew in advance the enemy's position and the firepower nests to launch surprise attacks thanks to data from reconnaissance UAVs. Along with that, the Russian soldiers also practiced attack plans on AFU's defensive positions so that all actions and coordination were smooth and quick.

Earlier, Russian soldiers on the Northwestern front miraculously avoided a series of shrapnel from FPV drones at close range. The drones flew towards the soldier and exploded, a series of shrapnel covered him, plowing up the ground around him, but the Russian soldier was fortunately unhurt. All of these images were recorded by a reconnaissance UAV.

Air strike warning in all regions of Ukraine

During the night of June 22, air raid warnings were issued twice in all regions of Ukraine. Local residents reported explosions in Pavlograd in the Dnepropetrovsk region, the Volyn region, as well as in the Vinnitsa and Kharkov regions. Several AFU facilities were attacked, including the Lutsk airport. Several large explosions were recorded in the underground area of ​​the airport.

“The airport has a fortified shelter, a hard canopy for aircraft and two large fuel warehouses,” said war correspondent Sergey Lebedev.

Meanwhile, the Polish army said it had a “very tense night” due to airstrikes in Ukraine. The Polish army’s operational command said on social network X that June 21 and 22 were “hard days” for them.

“We warn that the level of complexity may increase in the southeastern part of the country when Polish and allied military aircraft will have to actively operate,” the Polish military's operational command said.

Polish fighter jets and those of allied countries had to increase patrols due to “heavy activity” by Russian long-range aircraft, returning to base two hours later when the threat of attacks on the border area with Ukraine had decreased.
