Scoot Airlines launches direct flight from Singapore to Da Nang

ĐNO - On the afternoon of October 20, flight TR314 of Scoot Airlines, departing from Changi International Airport (Singapore) carrying more than 170 passengers landed at Da Nang International Airport, marking the airline's first flight to Da Nang city.

The city's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Central Aviation Authority, the Border Police of Da Nang International Airport, Da Nang International Airport, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company, and Scoot Airlines to organize welcoming activities such as: water cannon ceremony to welcome the plane, traditional art performances, giving flowers and souvenirs to passengers, and taking souvenir photos.

The Singapore - Da Nang direct flight route operated by Scoot Airlines has a frequency of 3 flights/week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Expected to increase to 7 flights/week from January 2026. Flights are operated by Airbus A320 aircraft, with a capacity of 180 to 186 seats.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, the number of tourists from Singapore to Da Nang recorded a steady growth trend. In the first 9 months of 2025, Da Nang welcomed 69,488 Singaporean visitors.

The opening of a direct flight route between Singapore and Da Nang, with the participation of three airlines: Singapore Airlines, Vietjet Air and Scoot Airlines, has increased the total flight frequency from Singapore to Da Nang to 24 flights/week, contributing to expanding opportunities for bilateral tourism development cooperation in the coming time.
