Completing the scientific profile of Xuan Huong Lake landscape

From now until November 30, 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province will preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, units, the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat and Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat to complete the scientific dossier of the Xuan Huong Lake scenic relic according to the provisions of the Law on Cultural Heritage 2024.

Lam Dong is strengthening the management, conservation and promotion of the value of the scenic relic Xuan Huong Lake.

Xuan Huong Lake was ranked as a national scenic spot by the Ministry of Culture (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) on November 16, 1988. On May 17, 1997, the People's Committee of the former Lam Dong province issued a decision to re-determine the total area of ​​​​the Xuan Huong Lake scenic relic site of 96.1 hectares. Of which, the protected area of ​​​​area I and area II is 36.9 hectares and 59.2 hectares, respectively.

To strengthen the management, conservation and promotion of the value of the scenic relic of Xuan Huong Lake, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong province was assigned by the People's Committee of Lam Dong province to preside over the construction and completion of the above scientific dossier.
