Joining hands for our compatriots: Lighting up faith and hope for families in need of sharing

On the evening of October 6, at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House, the art program "Joining hands for compatriots" took place to raise funds to support people affected by storm Bualoi.

The program is jointly implemented by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Union, the Vietnam Student Association, the Ho Chi Minh City Young Pioneers Council, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Social Work Center, Tuoi Tre newspaper and a number of units.

Here, Nhat Kim Anh contributed another 1 billion VND. Before that, she went to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to contribute 1 billion VND to help the people.

Speaking and launching the program "Ho Chi Minh City Youth join hands to support compatriots affected by storm Bualoi" , Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Le Tuan Anh emphasized that the art program " Joining hands for compatriots " aims to connect kind hearts, spread the spirit of sharing, and promptly support compatriots to overcome difficulties and natural disasters.

He believes that the tradition of solidarity, mutual love and helping each other are always good values ​​that Ho Chi Minh City youth promote in all circumstances.

During the program, the organizers broadcast a report produced by Tuoi Tre newspaper, providing everyone with information about the heavy human and property damage caused by the devastation caused by storm No. 10. Very quickly, there were units that responded to the campaign and contributed very early.

In which, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper Dinh Minh Trung represented the newspaper to send to the program's organizing committee 1 billion VND from contributions from readers and staff of Tuoi Tre Newspaper.

Actress and singer Nhat Kim Anh believes that every contribution, no matter how small, when combined, will become a big heart. "I hope we can unite and share to help people affected by the storm quickly overcome difficulties" - Nhat Kim Anh emotionally said.

Other singers have also contributed to support their compatriots. Many artists have expressed their plans to visit and directly help people who suffered heavy damage from the storm.

In the program on the evening of October 6, the organizing committee summarized the amount of money that units, businesses, philanthropists, and artists responded to the launch as 10,173,745,000 VND.
