'Miss Cai Luong' Nhu Huynh receives double good news

Meritorious Artist Nhu Huynh was unexpectedly honored as one of the nation’s outstanding stage artists from 1975 to 2025 on her birthday. This sweet result made her emotional.

The special art program to celebrate Vietnam Stage Day and honor outstanding artists of the stage arts from 1975 to 2025 was directed by the Vietnam Stage Artists Association, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province. In the list of honorees, Meritorious Artist Nhu Huynh - one of the outstanding cai luong singers of the southern region was named, recognizing her steadfast dedication over the years.

Not only is she one of the honored artists, Meritorious Artist Nhu Huynh also brought to the program a special performance called Southern Sunshine and Wind , with lyrics composed by Meritorious Artist Hoang Thanh. In a traditional ao dai, the female artist scored points with her sweet, emotional voice.

"That performance is my gratitude to the audience who have always been by my side throughout my career. No matter what stage I am on, I still want to keep the spirit of the South - where I was born and raised with Cai Luong", Meritorious Artist Nhu Huynh confided.
