Artist Chieu Hung's son is driving for Grab, Binh Tinh gives him a salary and accepts the Huynh Long troupe.

On the evening of October 3, during the Huynh Long Traditional Drama Troupe’s death anniversary performance at Hong Lien Theater, the audience was surprised when a motorbike taxi driver appeared on stage. Binh Tinh told a touching story about the young man.

It turned out that it was Luong Vi, son of the late artist Chieu Hung, who was invited by Binh Tinh to sing at the death anniversary.

Luong Vi sent the audience three vọng cổ verses from the play Blood Stained Temple Yard. Artist Binh Tinh revealed that Luong Vi's performance was not in the program.

While preparing for Huynh Long's death anniversary performance, the night before going to bed, she was surfing Facebook and suddenly saw a picture of Luong Vi driving a motorbike taxi.

Half-believing, Binh Tinh immediately called Vi to ask if it was true or if he was just doing some kind of program.

Luong Vi told Binh Tinh that because of the difficult life, he had to drive Grab and sell dumplings to make a living.

Hearing that, Binh Tinh suddenly choked up. She told Luong Vi to come sing for Huynh Long on the night of October 3. She also jokingly said that because Luong Vi's performance was not in the program, there was no pre-arranged fee.

Binh Tinh took out her own money to give Luong Vi her salary in the hope of helping him in some way.

Luong Vi also "took advantage" and asked: "If you give me money, will you let me join the troupe?". The audience below also shouted: Accept it, accept it, because they saw that Luong Vi was bright and beautiful, with many similarities to artist Chieu Hung. Although her singing voice still had to work hard, it was still good.

Faced with that situation, Binh Tinh was a bit confused, but quickly gave a very sincere answer: "Ladies and gentlemen, I am only a little bit here, but I am responsible for hundreds of people, the artists at Huynh Long Group. But if I have to carry hundreds of people, adding one more person is probably okay!"

Binh Tinh's words made everyone happy, promising that Huynh Long would be supplemented with a new actor. And also considered creating more opportunities for the descendants of artist Chieu Hung, not to have to give up their singing career to make a living.

Luong Vi graduated from the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Theatre and Cinema. He won several small awards and last year was runner-up at the Cai Luong Academy.

In addition to supporting the son of artist Chieu Hung, during the performance, artists Ngoc Huyen, Binh Tinh, and Thai Vinh, representing the artist brothers Doan Huynh Long, informed the audience about the people in many provinces in the North and Central regions who have just been heavily affected by storm No. 10 (storm Bualoi).

At that time, Binh Tinh was on tour in Australia on the flight back to Vietnam, and Ngoc Huyen was also flying from the US to Vietnam so she only contributed a little bit hastily with the Huynh Long artists. The total amount of 11 million VND was given on October 1.

Now that the two artists have returned to Vietnam and have prepared everything for the anniversary performance, they have decided to continue calling on artists and audiences in the auditorium on the evening of October 3 to turn their hearts to their compatriots who are facing difficulties.

Ngoc Huyen volunteered to send 10 million VND to the donation box. Her friend in the US sent 13 million VND. Together with the philanthropists, artists, and audiences, the total amount was about 70 million VND that night. Artist Binh Tinh concluded that she personally contributed to make up 100 million VND to help people.

This money will be presented by Binh Tinh on behalf of Doan Huynh Long to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
