In an announcement on her personal page, beauty Kateryna Bilyk wrote: "I, Kateryna Bilyk, unfortunately have to withdraw from the Miss Grand pageant due to my health being seriously affected by the conditions of the event.

For 2 weeks, I was required to participate in activities from 8am to 11pm or midnight. Some days, I had to work from 3am to 11pm despite having a fever of 37.5⁰C to 38.2⁰C.

My condition was recorded by a private doctor in Pattaya (Thailand) and the doctor at the Wyndham Jomtien Pattaya hotel also recorded that my blood pressure was dangerously high."

The beauty wrote in her letter that she was given a pill of unknown origin to use by Miss Grand staff.

"Although the Miss Grand Organization claims to be contractually responsible for my health, they have caused significant damage to my physical and mental health.

They did not call a doctor when I fainted and forced me to continue working with a fever of 38.5⁰C and blood pressure of 151/90. In addition, the organizers confiscated my passport for 3 days in Cambodia, illegally restricting my freedom of movement," the beauty added.

Kateryna Bilyk asserted that she had collected evidence including: videos , photos, receipts, documents, messages and work schedules to protect herself. The Ukrainian beauty also admitted that representatives of the Miss Grand organization had called and texted to threaten her.

"I have the right to file a lawsuit and demand financial compensation," she wrote at the end of the letter. According to the latest update, Bilyk has just returned to Ukraine and said that she has hired a lawyer.

The Miss Grand Organizing Committee and Mr. Nawat (President of the Miss Grand Organization) have not yet commented on the above accusation.

On the evening of October 19, the contestants of Miss Grand 2024 participated in a closed interview with the judges of the contest. Tonight, October 20, the national costume performance will take place.

As of noon on October 20, the list of top 10 contestants leading the Miss Popular Vote poll was also revealed. Topping the list was the Indonesian beauty with 27% of the votes, followed by the representative of Myanmar with 25% of the votes.
