Soe Min Tun is Thae Su Nyein's companion throughout the Miss Grand 2024 pageant, currently serving as the National Director of the Miss Grand Myanmar organization. He is also the one who snatched the crown, removing Thae Su Nyein from the final round of the Miss Grand 2024 pageant on October 25.

Soe Min Tun is the whistleblower who accused the Miss Grand organization of offering $25,000 for the Country's Power of the Year award and treating the Myanmar representative unfairly.

In a conversation with the media, Mr. Nawat - Chairman of the Miss Grand organization - said that beauty Thae Su Nyein was manipulated by National Director Soe Min Tun into wanting to return the title.

Mr. Nawat told reporters that Miss Grand Myanmar 2023 - Ni Ni Lin Eain - had revealed that Soe Min Tun manipulated and controlled her during her tenure. Ni Ni Lin Eain is the representative of Myanmar and was crowned first runner-up at the Miss Grand Myanmar 2023 pageant held in Vietnam.

Chairman Nawat added that Ni Ni is protected by the contract signed with the Miss Grand organization so Soe Min Tun cannot interfere with her work for 1 year.

According to him, Soe Min Tun did not allow beauty Thae Su Nyein to receive the title of 2nd Runner-up at the Miss Grand 2024 contest because he wanted her to continue to be under his control.

If beauty Thae Su Nyein does not receive the title of 2nd runner-up, she will not sign a contract with the Miss Grand organization. Therefore, Soe Min Tun can continue to manage her and receive sponsorship from her popularity in her home country.
