Recalling special memories with Ao Dai, Thuy Tien said she still remembers the moment she performed the Blue Angel costume with the Ao Dai shape combined with wings symbolizing the medical sector to pay tribute to the frontline forces fighting the Covid-19 epidemic on the Miss Grand International 2021 stage. "I think that wearing Ao Dai is not simply wearing a beautiful outfit, it is preserving, maintaining and promoting the traditional values ​​of the nation," Thuy Tien added.

Meanwhile, Tieu Vy confided: “I still remember in 2018, when I participated in the Miss World contest, I wore the Vietnamese ao dai and introduced to international friends the graceful and delicate beauty of the traditional costume of my homeland. That was my joy and happiness, as a Vietnamese person.”
