Complete the implementation of electronic medical records before August 31

Information from the Department of Health of Quang Tri province said that the unit has just issued a plan to implement electronic medical records (EMR) and connect the medical data coordination system at medical examination and treatment facilities in 2025. The time to complete the implementation of EMR is before August 31 at all public medical examination and treatment facilities in the province.

The plan requires heads of medical examination and treatment units to take full responsibility for this work, prioritize resources, mobilize the participation of organizations, businesses and people, resolutely implement, ensure quality and schedule.

EMR must meet the requirements of information technology, electronic signature and confirmation according to the regulations of the Ministry of Health , in accordance with the management and professional requirements in the health sector in the current period and future orientation.

Deploying EMR records ensures substance, brings specific effectiveness, improves productivity and quality of medical examination, treatment and disease prevention, brings practical benefits to patients, people and medical facilities. Ensure information security, network security and information confidentiality according to regulations. Ensure connectivity and data sharing of EMR records between medical examination and treatment facilities with related information systems and databases according to regulations.
